FAQ

Pre-order policy

We offer a pre-order service for items that are currently out of stock. Pre-orders require payment at checkout. Please note that once a pre-order is placed, it cannot be canceled or refunded. Although we do our best to give accurate shipping date estimates on product pages, shipping dates are not guaranteed and delays may occur. We will ship pre-order items as soon as they arrive. In order to reduce unnecessary transportation waste, if you purchase in-stock items and pre-order items together, all items will be shipped together after they are all available.

Sales, Promotions and Discounts

Exclusive promotional offers only apply to in-stock items. Promotion applies to specified amounts before taxes and shipping charges and is calculated after other discounts are applied. Manually entered discount codes cannot be combined with other discount codes.

Discount codes and promotions are valid for current orders only and cannot be combined with past or future orders. We do not offer delayed redemptions for promotions, and manual adjustments cannot be made to orders that have been placed.

Where are Good Things Take Time products made? How to make it?

All of our products are designed, carefully formulated and hand-filled at our factory in Tamsui, Taipei, Taiwan. We work closely with a small team of cosmetic chemists and herbalists to create multifunctional formulas that are rigorously tested to ensure efficacy, safety and stability.

Are your products natural?

Good Things Take Time's products are formulated with 100% natural and naturally derived ingredients. In addition to considering botanical origins when crafting our formulas, we select ingredients based on responsible and sustainable harvesting practices. We are committed to providing high-performance aromatherapy products that are completely free of toxins, fillers, artificial fragrances, artificial colors and non-biodegradable materials, which are not only good for our bodies but also good for the planet.

Are your products organic?

All of our products are made with organic ingredients wherever possible, and we continually seek out the highest quality botanicals, whether certified organic, consciously grown or biodynamically grown. We occasionally choose to support some smaller organic farms or cooperatives who adhere to impeccable production principles but are unable to obtain certification due to cost reasons. We believe these ingredients are of the highest standards and are proud to support these producers and their communities. Due to the increase in improper harvesting techniques and over-harvesting of plants worldwide, we choose not to source any wild-harvested ingredients. Detailed ingredient information can be found in our product ingredients list.

How do you source ingredients?

We work closely with our partners to carefully source the highest quality ingredients from around the world and rigorously vet each supplier to ensure their company ethics and priorities align with ours. We pride ourselves on knowing exactly where each ingredient comes from, when and how it is harvested, and we require complete documentation and ingredient testing before introducing any ingredient to ensure its purity has not been diluted.

Are Good Things Take Time products unisex and suitable for all skin types?

All of our products are unisex formulas and gentle enough for sensitive and problem skin. We recommend giving your skin two weeks to adjust when using a new product. Since everyone's skin is unique and may interact differently with botanical ingredients, we recommend spot testing before use. If you have any specific concerns, allergies, or illnesses, please consult your physician before use.

Are Good Things Take Time’s products vegan and cruelty-free?

All of our products and their ingredients are cruelty-free formulas. All of our products are vegan.

How are your products stored?

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy/lactation?

All Good Things Take Time products contain essential oils considered suitable for use during pregnancy/lactation, and in most cases, the essential oil concentration in their formulas is less than 5%. Although we have many customers using our products during pregnancy, each person and every pregnancy is unique - we always recommend consulting with your doctor before using any essential oil.

Do you provide free samples?

We do not offer free samples at this time. If you would like to explore our product range, we recommend purchasing our Discovery Pack, which contains 9 luxurious trial sizes of our entire range.

What is the shelf life of your products? How should it be stored?

The expiry date of each product is stated on its box and on the product pages of our website. Because our formulas are natural and the ingredients are sensitive, we recommend using within 6-10 months of opening (depending on the product) to ensure optimal efficacy. Always store product in a cool, dry place, avoid direct contact with heat, and close cap tightly after each use to prevent oxidation. Although refrigeration is not required, refrigeration helps extend shelf life and keep products fresh.

Is it normal to see changes in product color and smell?

We use unrefined, minimally processed plant-based ingredients to preserve their therapeutic benefits as much as possible. Because these ingredients are not mass-produced or standardized, variations in color and odor may occur between batches and seasons. This is completely normal and we produce in small batches to ensure consistent quality. If you have any specific questions or concerns about the product you purchased, please contact info@goodthingstaketime

Is your packaging recyclable?

Almost all of our packaging is recyclable, except for certain mixed-material packaging components (such as droppers, treatment pumps and sprayers). Our boxes, note cards, glass bottles, and all shipping materials (including packing tape, exterior stickers, filler paper, and even shipping labels) are made from recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. We are constantly looking for innovative and environmentally friendly packaging solutions and are committed to reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible. We encourage you to reuse or repurpose our packaging, and if reuse is not possible, dispose of it responsibly. To learn more about our sustainability practices, please see our website.
